Army medic museum   2 comments

One of the first things that all medics in training have to do when they get to Fort Sam Huston is go to the Army medic museum. Most people groaned at the fact that they were going to miss out on one of their first Saturdays of freedom but I actually looked forward to the trip. I like museums because I like learning new things.

I got to see some pretty cool stuff at the museum. Like devices that were set as traps so that when people stepped on them they would get sick because open wounds and animal excrement is just not a fun combination.

I also got to see the famous medic statue and take this picture by it:

Texas

It is strange how much has changed since then.
