The Tuba Chronicles   Leave a comment

I just wanted to give an awesome shout out to this Walmart commercial. So this little boy in the commercial is working so hard. And everyone is like ‘oh it is probably for football or some other sports’ but no…….!

It’s for marching band! Marching band! And the Tuba none the less. I used to play the tuba in marching band, in case you were wondering. And I love this commercial. It feels like there is definitely a push for athletics being extremely important. Which I agree, they are. It is a great way for kids in school to keep in shape and yeah know learn team work and stuff. But also Marching band is awesome and yes a great way to stay in shape. I can personally attest to that one. That is what I really appreciate about this commercial.

On a side note, why does there need to be a commercial for a commercial on YouTube… doesn’t make sense.

Awkward encounter¬†   Leave a comment

The other day my boyfriend and I were at the mall because we were planning on eating at the food court (even though we keep saying we are going to stop eaating out I really doubt we will) we went there so we could eat at two different food joints.

While we were there, we ran into one of my old high school friends, my awesome lab partner actually. And if you can read you probably guessed it….. It was really awkward. I don’t know why. I don’t know if it was me or her but it was a little uncomfortable. We moved our separate ways and I couldn’t help but think about it. Her and I used to be able to talk about stuff hell we once had a conversation about if it was biblically okay to marry your cousin. But I guess that is what happens. Time really tells you things. Time apart anyways. With the people I’m still close to even though I didn’t see them for a while we didn’t miss a beat when we were reunited and for that I am thankful.

Chocolate   Leave a comment

Everyone knows that after a long day all you really just need is chocolate. Seriously chocolate. So after work, my boyfriend and I walked to go get chocolate. It was awesome. And it made me a little less stressed so that is good. Now just to relax with my boyfriend and enjoy the night.

Short   Leave a comment

To everyone out there who knows what it is like to work understaffed,

It really sucks doesn’t it. It is stressful and no fun. And it is even worse if it happens on a regular basis. But I have a message for you all. You got this! It may suck and be awful but I believe in you! Team work really is key when you are working short. Seriously, I am thankful for the team I have even though it doesn’t seem like it in the moment. I really do appreciate them. I think people need to learn to say thank you more often and laugh a little more. Any thing to get you through the day right?

Books!   Leave a comment

I really love books! One of my favorite things to do is reading and I still don’t do it often enough. I need to start reading more often but while I love it, it can sometime be hard to get into. Reading takes effort where as I could simply just click on the tv and be semi-entertained. I think I am going to make an effort to read more and watch tv less. I really do love reading and I have to time to do it. I just waste too much of it.

A year of firsts   Leave a comment

This is the first year that I won’t be in any kind of school. It will be kind of weird not really having to sit in a class room. It doesn’t mean that I won’t be learning. I will obviously be learning stuff through the army but also just in general in my everyday life. I think that people take for granted that we learn every day. I never want to stop learning and I really don’t think it is possible to stop learning. Every day is new and exciting especially if you let it be. Bored? Go out and do something. Unhappy about something in your life? Fix that. So really every year is a year of firsts if you think about it.

I feel like I am running out of things to write about but don’t worry I will do my best to change that.
